Admission criteria:

  • The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
    Minimum education:  10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with aggregate of 45% marks from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board.
  • Student shall be medically fit.
  • Students appearing in 10+2 examination in Science conducted by National Institute of Open School with 45% marks.
  • Student shall be admitted once in a year.

Documents to be submitted at the time of admission:

  • SSLC or 10th marks sheet original
  • Proof of date of birth
  • PUC or 12th or equivalent marks card originals
  • Transfer certificate from previous institution
  • Migration certificate for Non-Karnataka Students
  • For Non-Karnataka students, eligibility certificates must be obtained before admission
  • Recent Passport size photos

Admission Dates:
Admission starting and last date will be as per the calendar of events released by the RGUHS

VIII Semester

Internship (Intensive Practicum/ Residency posting)

Evaluation system:

  • Semester scheme conducted by RGUHS and College exams
  • Minimum 40% marks in elective subjects and minimum 50% marks to be conducted in University exams
  • A candidate has to pass in theory and practical exam separately in each of the paper
  • The candidate shall have cleared all the previous examinations before appearing for 5th semester examination
  • The candidate shall have cleared all the examination before appearing for 7th semester examination
  • Candidate has to pass separately in internal and external examination

Eligibility to appear for University exam:

  1. A candidate must have minimum 80% attendance in theory and practicals in each subject for appearing in exam
  2. Minimum 50% marks must be obtained in internal exams

Internal Examination:

For improving the student’s performance, college will conduct internal exams as unit tests and term exams. Students has to appear and must score good marks to improve the grading in University exams

Extracurricular Activity:
College will encourage students to participate in sports and cultural competition for encourage alround development of the student

Placement Opportunity:
Charkos College of Nursing has tie up with National and international organizations for placement of students after the course

Hostel Facility:
College has own separate hostel facility for both boys and girls

Vacation & Holidays: 4 weeks in year
